It seems, sometimes, in these sorts of situations, people make allegations about others. These are absolutely false. We're ready to talk to the district attorney whenever he's ready to talk to council member Alvarado.

People don't need to get wrapped up in symbolism. There's still an agreement that she will return once the district attorney finishes his work.

I'm totally comfortable that she has done absolutely nothing wrong herself. But, she's very upset about what happened and she's trying to find out. She wants some help in finding out what did happen.

So they can get a hold of it as quickly as they can. That actually happened this afternoon. We had reached out to them earlier and said, 'If you want this material, you can have it.' And, just as an extra step, we e-mailed those numbers to them.

We just hope everybody respects the investigative process and allows it to run its course before coming to any conclusions.

It's a standard part of the investigative process in any situation like this When the district attorney needs information, wants to see what e-mails have been exchanged, that kind of thing, they'll take computers from an office, they'll image the hard drives and then they'll return it.
