It shows us no matter where we are or who we play, we can stay with them. We spotted them 21 points. To go out and get the win is great for everyone's confidence.

I can tell him that if he messes up on a play, he can't hold it; he can't think about it. Being a DB, you have to have a short memory because the next play you may come in and get an interception or something. He can't hold that stuff to himself because if he does, it's going to have a snowball effect.

We made some mistakes, but I think we always overcame them. Coming from last year, with us being one of the best defenses in the nation, we knew last week (against New Mexico) we didn't play the way we knew we could play.
