It started with Todd. His agent asked for it. It worked out. We started doing that more and more. You?re starting to see that more and more in the league, especially with the rosters increasing to 13 players.

They (Yankees) haven't asked me about it -- that would be tampering -- and they haven't asked my agent.

For Todd to finish where he did shows what a great driver he is. If Todd had started in the first seed the results probably would have been different. He probably would of had a least a silver medal and been in a fight for the gold.

I'm happy for Todd, ... He worked his rear-end off — he was at every meeting and invested his own money and his own time. I hope this does great, because he's put a lot of time and energy into it. My son has seen this movie 21 times.

We feel bad from a team standpoint for Todd. He worked very hard this offseason. He was having a heck of a camp, and its a shame this happened.

He always told me that Lonnie was the best agent he ever dealt with. Lonnie worked out contracts for me when I was in Detroit, New Jersey and Orlando, and I never worried that we'd have problems with management afterwards.
