It was a blow to me. My job is to make sure the building is safe.

We've become accustomed to let officials handle everything.

Our young black men are falling victim to some anti-social behavior. Our kids are going to find acceptance somewhere. We have to ask what is going on in our community that these kids found themselves somewhere they didn't need to be.

In times of profound change, the learners inherit the earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists.
