It was a good ballgame that kept going back and forth. Our pressure wasn't consistent, but I was proud of the kids.

Good ballgame, what can I say?

I'd like to see us become more consistent on defense, but there were some good plays that kept us in the game. We struggled some offensively, but had some clutch hits, and pitched well enough to win a close game.

We kept going back-and-forth between dominating and faltering -- but there were many more good plays than bad.

(Whiteside) was on the varsity last year, but didn't get to play much with our four seniors. He's waited his turn and is having a heck of a year, averaging about 16 points and 9.6 rebounds.

Our (j.v.) went 17-3, so I've got some nice players coming in. I feel good about the future.
