It was a good comeback win after losing the first match. The girls played really hard, we were aggressive, we passed well and I was so pleased that we came out and did exactly what we had to do. We communicated and we concentrated on getting shots on goal to give us scoring opportunities.

We have been trying to play more (offensive-minded), by keeping the forwards on top to give them more scoring chances.

We didn't produce on the opportunities we had, and Kearney took advantage of theirs.

We're slowly building confidence, we know we have it in us, we just need to get it out.

We've talked about the importance of coming out strong and ready to play. The way we started the second half shows that the girls are starting to understand.

I just hate to lose. I know the girls do too. Losing is not in our vocabulary. It's tough to take. Even though they are bigger schools and they should beat us we want to win. We can beat the best. As coaches we have to work harder. We played great for awhile but then we don't for awhile. Mistakes and mental lapses will kill you. Especially in a game like this. You can dominate the game and a couple of mistakes can lose you the game.
