It was a good experience for me. To get out there and play with guys older than me, it was a really good experience.

It really helped everybody come out and play hard.

Kemper Arena was brand new my senior year. It was an awesome experience because you can see everybody play and get to talk to them. I really enjoyed that. It's really too bad they don't do that anymore.

All of our pitchers are really young and we have a lot of sophomores that should get some varsity experience. They just have to work hard and we'll do fine.

I definitely think I have gotten better because of the experience, but the biggest thing for me was getting more opportunities. As the year unfolded, guys were going down and more opportunities came for me. When the opportunities came, I tried to take advantage of it.

As one of the few guys that has extensive playing experience, he's going to have to be a key in whatever areas we fit him in the offense or defense.
