It was a matter of pride. They kicked our butts in the first half, and we weren't going to end our season like that.

Clovis takes a lot of pride in going a little bit farther for its citizens.

We take a lot of pride in earning the number one seed. However, we also realize that means all the other teams will be gunning for us. It is always a little more difficult beating the same team twice in a season. Hopefully we'll be up to the task of defending our title.

There's nothing else to say. Gateway was the better team.

He has been great. He has adapted to the collegiate style of wrestling. He listens, learns and does pretty much what he is told.

The three of us know exactly what the other is going to do. We're finally playing together, which is a necessity at the end of the season.
