It was a real tight game in the first and second period. In the third, I think we came out strong and put the game away.

I think we stepped our game up in the second half of the third period and played like we can. We need to work on driving to the net with a purpose ... and making our plays. We can't just keep throwing the puck at the net and hoping to score.

Once in a while, you get every bounce on your stick and it goes well for you. I think tonight was one of those nights.

There weren't many tough ones in the first period when I didn't feel that comfortable. In the second and third I found my game, and after that I was hoping they would get even more shots because I felt so comfortable.

The third period was obviously everything we had. The first and second were the worst periods we played all year long.

I had a lot of chances, but somehow he was able to keep the puck out. I'm certainly going to hear about tonight when I talk to him the next time.
