It was a situation where we needed to come out with a score. I hadn't been all that productive the entire game. There was a point in time where I needed to step up and do some things.

This is a very unfortunate situation. (Jackson) can be productive.

We knew that we could score. It was really about getting the stops that we needed.

I didn't want to create an impediment in that situation. I wanted him to be productive. But it didn't seem to be working in that direction. I think more attention was better than less.

It's obviously a lot more comfortable when you're calling the plays down on the field. I can come up to [ Charlie Weis ] on the sidelines and talk to him face to face. You can see his emotions, what he's thinking, by the way he's talking to you. That's something that's help me, being able to have that face-to-face with him, being able to talk with him.

We feel as if we are by far the best team in the tournament. Last year the tournament was tainted, and this year we are going for blood.
