It was a step in the right direction. Even if it's a loss, it's going the right way.

We knew that they had been waiting 10 months. They came out and played hard and they were prepared. We withstood some stuff in the beginning and luckily broke through against Emily Price, who pitched a great game.

For what we can do at this point in the season, I thought they did the best the could. ... I thought they played very well together and obviously there's room to get better. The stuff we're doing in practice was paying off.

You never know with a new team how they're going to respond to a situation like that. Honestly, I think every coach, every fan and everyone on the team wondered what was going to happen. They came right back out and played hard. They started chipping way at the lead. To come back and tie it up and force extra innings, I think that just bodes well for us.

The loss of that line was such a huge, significant loss that we had to issue a call for blackouts to keep demand and supply in balance.

Clearly people feel less wealthy and people are going to focus on what happens to the direction of interest rates. Over the next couple of weeks, as the election subsides attention is going to shift to (Federal Reserve Chairman) Alan Greenspan.
