It was a tight (strike) zone tonight, so you could look for your pitch, ... Good for hitters, bad for pitchers.

They are good hitters and it's hard to compete when there is a minimal strike zone.

Our pitchers have pitched well from our starters to our bullpen. We have a tight pitch-count program here and every one of the pitchers has pitched well. I am proud of them.

(Our hitters) did a good job of being selective and when they got a strike they did a good job of putting the ball in play. Didn't hit a lot of balls real, real hard but we were getting them in play.

It's tight on occasion. It's a good pitch for him, obviously.

Ray was in his zone. I've been on the good side of that and tonight I was on the bad side. He had a special rhythm going and I know many shots he just shot over the top of us.
