It was a tough, long winter, ... I was on crutches for eight weeks and really got into rehabilitation. It wasn't until March of the following year that I was able to play golf again and even then it was very tender.

I've really had some great support through all this from my family and friends,

Mike is everybody's friend. He always seems to have a smile on his face and he always seems to be there to congratulate you on your success or console you if that be the case. He's just a great guy.

Wasn't that the weirdest thing you've ever seen in your life?

I feel pretty good right now, ... But it's (injury) still something I think about from time to time, especially when I get some funky lie. Then it really creeps into my mind and I really get cautious about how I'm going to hit the shot.

Nathan was playing some great golf that day, but there were still a lot of holes to play. You're in the finals of a national championship, you just want to have a chance because you never know what might happen. Now, I guess I will never know.
