It was a very intense match. It took about two and a half hours to play and both teams played with a lot of heart. There were lots of rallies and great defensive plays on both sides.

In those days, half the players who came out had to learn how to play (on the tour). You didn't have all the junior events that you have nowadays. The most tournaments I played in a year was six as an amateur. Now they do that in six weeks.

She just wanted to be in it. I'm excited. I did the same play when I was in high school. I still remember some of the songs.

We fought at the end, but we didn't come out and play 40 minutes. We were trying to do it all in the final 3:45 and that wasn't going to work.

They came out with a lot of heart. They just played so hard. Our goal has been to play 32 minutes, and play hard the whole time. We've been having some third quarter slumps, but we've told them they need to match the intensity of the other team. They did that tonight.

She's just worked so hard. She has a great attitude and she's sacrificed to play.
