It was a wonderful, vibrant place, and its loss was a big blow to the community. It was very much an anchor in the community. We see our school as a real symbol of its rebirth.

We really believe we can change kids' lives. We're looking to take a young person who may not have a great deal of motivation, who may not feel very strongly about who they are, and help them find their passion - to make them realize who they are, what they are capable of doing and give them an opportunity to do it.
