It was back and forth. But, they're a good team. I thought we battled hard.

I think the difference between this time and last time (two years ago) is the girls were just happy to be there and all that. We have nine players that were on that team that went two years ago and I think this year they want to do a little bit more than just say they went to the national tournament. They just want to be successful and try to win as many games as we can.

I thought we golfed a lot better in this tournament than we did at the SPC. We were a little intimidated going against teams in our conference for the first time, but it's good that we have these first two tournaments under our belt.

We had a wake up call. We thought it would be easy and just got beat by two solid teams. We realize now we have to work harder.

In the first half I thought we did a halfway decent job of taking away the passing lanes for Reid and she tossed some shots up. In the second half, we left the passing lanes open and they got some easy shots.

I didn't think we wrestled as a team very well. But then, Polk was much better than I thought coming into the match.
