It was kind of an eye-opener for our young team and how we need to play.

Eryn is very intelligent and knows the game. We also have a good group of young pitchers.

We're going to be hard to beat. From what I've seen so far, our leadership has been outstanding.

I haven't seen this region, or many others for that matter, that are this balanced where you play a solid team each week. There are no games on the schedule that you can point to and say 'we should win that one,' ... You can't relax on any week. But I think that makes everyone better.

Who else would make the play to win the game? It was obviously a gamble, but it was one that paid off.

We don't have the great players we had last year, but if we play hard and play together we can be a great team.
