It was like we took a shot to the stomach. We were so high, we were playing so well. I think that really, really damaged our psyche.

We?re not pleased with the way we ended the season. But the other side of that coin is when the tournament starts everyone?s 0-0.

I think our kids have tried really hard, and played really hard. There?s just been times late in crucial games when we haven?t executed.

It would certainly help. I think that would go a long way to deciding the team that comes out victorious. I think they probably feel like they can win playing our style and we feel like, if the chips fall right, we can win playing their style.

E.J.?s come into a different situation then when he left. There was a point in his career when he was option A, B and C. And now he?s got to fit in among other kids who can really play. That?s not an easy adjustment.

Every kid I've been around as a football player, they want their coaches to make them better as men and as players.
