It was more a practice match for me, ... I pulled a muscle playing doubles yesterday, but once I was out there today it was getting warm and getting better.

It's very special to win this title because it's been nearly a year since I won a tournament. It's only the start of the indoor season, and this is a time of year I normally play well, so it's good for me to win here. I really want to be in the Top 10 at the end of the year, so this will obviously be good for my ranking.

The victory wasn't easy, I was a bit nervous at the start of the second set as I struggled with my service, ... But I managed to break back immediately after dropping my service, and then things went my way.

I could not control my tennis. I'm defending my country. It's a different situation. You're not playing for yourself. There's so many people behind you and you think you're disappointing them.

That's the worst I've ever played. What can you do when you play like that?
