It was on a 1-2 count with two outs. It was a big win because we were down 4-0.

High school was just a completely different level than summer ball. Summer ball was almost just as high a level as college.

It's hard work every day — taking countless reps listening to your coach, trying not to get frustrated. But I learn from each mistake.

This is why I came out here. The weather, the facilities, the coaches, the girls. It's so exciting. To come out here in a Stanford jersey - it's going to be a thrill.

You would be amazed how many important outs you can get by working the count down to where the hitter is sure you're going to throw to his weakness, and then throw to his power instead.

You got to get twenty-seven outs to win.
