It was playoffs and we were a little nervous. I think that's why we got off to the slow start and then we couldn't really get into it. Their defense was right on us and we were trying to look and trying to pass.

Everything has been clicking for us. We had a great game against Elkton the other night and then we've still been practicing really hard. Our game plan was to come in and give it our all tonight and that's what we did.

It's hard because the kids get jumpy. We're not used to a close-game situation. Our games this year have been either one way or the other. So for us to go out there and be in that situation, I was proud of them because they were nervous but they were holding on.

I imagine he'll probably run her again [before the Breeders' Cup]. We put her in the round pen [Sunday] and she was bucking and squealing. She certainly came back full of energy.

He was probably our most bummed out kid because we came so close to playing for a sectional title. We talked to these kids at the beginning of the season that Peoria is what we should be thinking about. To have us fall a little short is painful.

Tyler is a huge player for us. He does a nice job of using his body inside. ... He's not a real tall kid.
