It was really exciting, you could tell our kids were very nervous in the dry runs. But when it started, we just kind of took it on.

Our kids became very confident and they answered confidently.

On the holidays you can wear whatever you want, and I always tell them there's a dress code for everyone. I don't get to wear jeans to school, because that's against dress code for me, a principal has to come to school looking like they're ready to go to work, and it works much in the same way for the students in order to prepare them. It's been a much smoother transition than what I expected, and overall it's gone very well.

It's just great for the kids, you know when daddy's gone they still have something to hold and hang on to and sleep with and cuddle.

It's structured, but it's very hands-on. I question the kids a whole lot, rather than just tell them the answers. They need to be scientists with me.

(We shouldn't) punish the kids, but they're the ones getting the most. They're wonderful kids... They were not doing anything bad, but are being punished anyway.
