It was really hard. I told people I was laying off the alcohol, and there was this pressure -- 'Have a drink with us! This drink tastes fantastic!' I'm like, stop it.

I didn't anticipate the pressure. If I stated that I was staying away from alcohol, that's when I felt that people were uncomfortable with me not drinking. If I didn't say anything, didn't make a big deal of it, they were less likely to notice.

We don't want people that don't agree with alcohol to feel awkward.

We've noticed each year it gets better, ... People appreciate this event for what it is. They leave their alcohol in the cooler at home.

Clearly, people in the state of Colorado are fed with up laws that push people to using alcohol instead of marijuana, when it is a far more dangerous drug and causes more problems around the state.

We need people to think about and protect their own safety, ride at reasonable speeds and keep their alcohol consumption to a minimum when driving.
