It was really important for us to come out and prove that we can play as a team.

We practiced playing defense against their offense for a week. We prepared really hard to beat them, so we knew exactly what they were going to run and we defended it really well.

I was just so happy because our team had worked so hard this season. It finally paid off, and I was glad I could help them out to keep us going.

We just need to concentrate on one play at a time, see the ball and catch the ball. I think our defense needs to step up a little bit, and we need to make timely plays. We weren't making those, and we made a lot of errors this weekend. ... We've just got to put it together ... and keep it going for the rest of the game and close it out.

We weren't pushing as hard as they were. We didn't realize how hard we had to play on defense.

That's the way we play. We're a running team.
