It was really neat that it came down to the mile relay. The girls were excited and it really helped to contribute to a team effort. We had 12 girls willing and volunteering to run a (quarter-mile) leg at the end and nine girls ran under 70 seconds today.

Getting Tina Fox back going again is good and she jumped very well and had a good attempt at the meet record. We're happy that she's healthy again and getting back in the winning way. We're still a little banged up and trying to get everybody healthy, but we have everybody here today, at least.

We find ways to win. Even when we?re not at our best - like tonight - these girls find ways to win.

I am happy, but I'm getting afraid that the girls are starting to get a little overconfident. But as far as development and hitting the ball, we're right on schedule.

Give our girls credit, they didn't quit, but they haven't quit in any game all season. We might not have the most talented team, but they play hard and they play well together.

I told the girls it can't get any worse, and we've got nothing to do but look forward in the second half.
