It was sloppy at times. But the mark of a good team is to win when you don't play well.

Anytime you win when you're not playing your best, it's the mark of a good team.

When you play a sloppy team like that, you tend to play the same way. So every time we started doing that, Elyse would come through for us.

As good as we were (in the 34-15 win over) New Orleans, ... we were that sloppy against Dallas (on Monday). While we did some good things with our first group in the first quarter, we were careless.

And during the time when I was getting a lot of criticism and the team wasn't doing so well, I think it would have been much harder for me if I was just sat at home on my own. But when you've got a beautiful daughter to take care of, you don't even think about it.

In softball we always preach and preach to pitchers that the mark of a good pitcher is to win when you're not throwing well. We haven't been in this situation very much this year where we haven't been playing well where the game's still close. In the first half we did struggle and I think mentally it affected us a little bit.
