It was the perfect day for running, mid-60s and overcast. This is a very nice course and both boys and girls' teams like running there.

Although the boys' team ran some of their best times, we didn't have the depth we needed to win these meets.

They ran during the hottest part of the day. The course really doesn't have any shade; it is all out in the open. I think it got to some of them.

We've got some good boys running and they've worked hard. Over the summer, they've been running real well.
