It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: / Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind: / Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: / Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, / And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, / If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
