It was tough last week after we missed golden opportunities (against Andress). But we executed pretty good tonight.

We hit the ball pretty well earlier in the season, but we had never hit the ball that well until [last night]. That's just a tribute to these young men, who just refuse to die out there. We never thought we were out of it and hit the ball as well as we could have asked for.

It was a hard fought game. Pius is a pretty respected Milwaukee program. We were a little disappointed that we let a lead go but we played strong defensively.

You can get carried away going for those high yields.

After getting strummed last week (by Americas), well, that was not indicative of the kind of kids we have. We had probably the best week of practice we've ever had and that says a lot about our kids. I can't say how proud I am of our kids and their resilience. It's been a while since we pulled a game like that out. It keeps us in the hunt for the playoffs.

Schematically, we've had guys in the right spots for tackles, but for whatever reason, we're missing them. But I firmly believe our defense is going to rise up. We're going to make some tackles and be aggressive or else I'm going to suit up and play myself. But I really expect a good performance (tonight).
