It was very frustrating. (Heritage Christian) was better defensively than any of the teams we've played. They were a lot quicker. They were just better. That's why they're state champions.

Newcastle played quite defensively, but we had to keep playing and get through in the last 20 minutes, and we managed to do it.

Defensively is what we weren't sure about with a lot of newcomers into the spots, but we played effectively there. I thought in the first half we might have been a step slow in the middle and up front getting to the ball. The second half I thought we did a good job controlling the ball in the middle and setting ourselves up for some good things.
