It was very frustrating to me to have people break in and destroy the things that we did have. I guess they thought it was something there that was more valuable.

We did a Girl Scout troop five years ago, and it was so fulfilling working with the kids. Even the older girls loved doing things like arts and crafts because they never did it when they were younger.

These girls all come from different backgrounds and many have never had a steady adult in their lives, so this will provide them with a consistent mentor.

Even Jesus fed the people.

I have defined Ladies as people who did not do things themselves

Whenever I would get discouraged, I'd see the faces of the people who were going to have no voice in government if I weren't elected. A lot of them were female. A lot of them were people of color. And a lot of them were white, and they were poor. And they didn't matter. They just were obscure.
