It was very nice. We knew we had to win for the fans. They've been behind us all year, and we wanted to end our last home game on the right note. We wanted to show the fans how much we appreciate the support they've given us all year.

It hurts and I apologize to the fans and everyone who supports us and the coaches and my teammates for going out in the fashion that we did. I can't see myself putting it behind me anytime soon.

As a coach, it was the best performance we had from start to finish. The last 21/2 months have been up and down, but I still expect hard work from individuals. We don't have a lot of finesse or skilled players, but they come to work every day, and that's all I ask for.

The goal is to get four points this weekend. The way we're going to do that is we've got six periods - (we've got to take it) one period at a time and be smart about it.

I would like to thank the fans personally for the backing they've given us this season. They're a wonderful bunch and even in times of huge disappointment, they stuck right with it.

That was nice. It's nice to hear fans cheering for us. That was cool.
