The day they told me I'd have to have a reconstruction, they kind of said there wasn't a great chance I'd ever throw again. It was probably the worst day of my life.

As a pitcher, I don't think I'm actually physically to the point I was [in 2003]. I'm a smarter pitcher now, which is what gets me by.

It's unbelievable. It brings back memories of the old days. It's amazing.

They just had a deeper bench than us. It was a good loss. We only lost by 13 in each half and that's not too bad against a team like that.

It is about loss and dealing with regret. You have to tell people how you feel about them and deal with things before it is too late.
