It wasn't (Barrett's) best effort on that night. I would never say that we were naïve that the players weren't blameless.

When I saw him backing in on that ball, I knew he was going to turn and rip it. And when I saw him turn and begin, I (thought the shot) was in.

We never really built any kind of rhythm with stringing passes together. They put us under a lot of pressure at our end. As a consequence, we were more reacting.

It's only been 10 days, but it was hard watching the other night with a close game like that. You're a little bit more motivated to play against a former team and coach, so it's definitely a plus to get a playoff goal early and get the monkey off my back.

This season was a rollercoaster. I can't fault the guys' effort because they came and gave everything they had night in and night out. I learned a lot and I hope they did too.

We need a maximum effort 32 minutes a night, and we?re not getting it. We?re just not getting it each night.
