It wasn't good enough. It looked like he was kind of hurrying to get outs. He missed his location a couple of times, they've got a dangerous lineup and they made him pay.

He hasn't started working out hard yet. I don't know enough about his stroke. He missed a lot of playing time in spring training, so I don't know how quick (his return) can be.

I think they're starting to feel good about how they're throwing. We've shown the kind of depth that can pay off for us.

That's the kind of move you make that tells the players you've got the [guts] to do what you think is right, not to worry about it.

We have kind of a tradition. The first bottle of champagne, you look around, who is the most appropriate, and I think there were only two or three guys that had not popped champagne. By consensus of the players, [they felt] Abe should pop it. That's about as good of recognition from the team as you can get.

His legs are in real good shape.
