It went over very well. A lot of students participated and came to the program.

We turned the library into an Italian Café with music playing to complete the atmosphere. About 25 different students got up and read things like 'Green Eggs and Ham.

'Read across America' is a nationwide program to promote reading to students of all ages.

This event is to spark reading with high school students as well. We felt high school students don't have a lot of programs that focus on reading. We wanted to show them that it's still cool to read.
