It will be a tough game. Custer has some great athletes, but our girls have a lot of pride and we feel we can play with anybody.

Our crowd was unbelievable. Our entire student body was 100 percent behind us. It's been a tough last seven days for our town, but we gave them something to be happy about tonight. Our team is like family. We have a special group of kids.

Our kids played hard and they played together.

It was important to get a lead on them at the start of the game because St. Thomas More is a very patient team on offense. They use a lot of the clock and we didn't want to fall behind them.

St. Thomas More has a great defensive team. They pressure the ball so well and they really get into the passing lanes.

A key to success for the girls team will be the development of new athletes. Many of the freshmen have looked very strong in the early going and could make an impact right away.
