It's a sad commentary on where politics is today. If someone disagrees with you, you're either Attila the Hun or a leftist liberal.

I do not consider a liberal necessarily to be a leftist.

It's just a really sad commentary that they're just going ahead for the sake of going ahead. This is a behemoth of a memorial. Really, America's not coming to see this kind of underground water thing.

Liberals claim to love gays when it allows them to vent their spleen at Republicans. But disagree with liberals and their first response is to call you gay... But who has done more to out, embarrass, and destroy the lives of gay men who prefer to keep their orientation private than Democrats? Who is more intolerant of gays in the Republican Party than gays in the Democratic Party?
