It's strange because you - your life goes so swiftly. You look up one day you're a teenager, the next day you're a grandfather and you want to decide, 'I sure hope my kids don't make the same mistakes.'

You don't want to look the same every day of your life. It's boring as hell.

There is no set timetable. You want to get to a perfect day, where there are no mistakes, and continue from there. Anybody can do something right one day. But the football season is a grind. You have to get where you're getting to a new level every day. It's a process. You may have a great day today, but you also want to have a great day tomorrow.

I try not to make the same mistakes today that I made yesterday.

Success does not consist in never making mistakes but in never making the same one a second time.

I don't want to give any advice to a 19-year-old, because I want a 19-year-old to make mistakes and learn from them. Make mistakes, make mistakes, make mistakes. Just make sure they're your mistakes.
