It'll be close this time around.

We've now had the weekend off and some of our small, end-of-season injuries have had a little time to heal up.

Leander Cedar Park was a good team. We just really played well Saturday afternoon. I would definitely have to compliment the whole team on just determination alone. We're gutting out some matches that make a difference and it's good to see that from our kids in the middle of the season.

We played well against Leander High School (10-1) and I was pretty happy with the results. With Leander Cedar Park (10-0), I really felt like that was going to be a close match and we were up 7-0 after the doubles. That's hard to beat whenever you come out that well and our momentum carried us right through the singles. That was a good win.

Right now, we're just ready for some cooler weather. I guarantee that court temperature yesterday was well over 100 easy, but the kids are dealing with it.

It was kind of a frustrating time, not knowing if [we] were going to be left out or not. I wanted to move. If Miami was going to move to the ACC, I knew it was going to be tougher conference and I wanted a chance to be a part of it my final year.
