It's a college town, and those are the two things that are really marketable for us -- the university and golf.

We are extremely grateful to the university and their commitment to the Honors College because this increase really helps us to continue to attract the best and the brightest to Penn State.

Whitney played extremely well in the U.S. Amateur before she started college golf. She beat a lot of really accomplished players, which was really a testament to her abilities.

A university is a college with a stadium seating over 40,000.

You might think they are going to (the University of Maryland) College Park and they end up at Mount Saint Mary's or Harvard.

[While some coaches believe the changed environment spells doom and gloom for college golf, others aren't quite as pessimistic.] There are so many great players out there that are untapped, ... Maybe it's international [golfers] or kids that didn't [play in] the AJGA. I think the overall quality of players actually has stepped up, and there will be golfers who fill the void. This will be an opportunity for more players to shine.
