It's a full day of entertainment for the people, a way to keep the Bowie Festival alive.

I don't regret any of it, ... Anybody in the entertainment business who says they don't want fans is lying.

Unfortunately, we have to cancel, but I think it's the best thing for us to do.

We just don't know what the hurricane will do here. We could have gone on and put it in indoors, but not knowing, it was something we didn't want to chance.

It's understandable why someone would like their entertainment to provide an escape from modern day worries and the reality of war. We feel this record creates a healthy opportunity to process some of these emotions rather than deny them.

What we try to do is stagger the entertainment so anyone coming at any time of the day would get a mix of entertainment ? spoken word, jazz and gospel ? that mix.
