It's a great opportunity. Imagine, there's like 1,400 United Ways in the country, and we're not even like the big ones like Dallas or Chicago. I'm very excited.

One looks at things differently when you don't have parents who look after you. Some think that you give them love when you feed them, but I didn't just want a taco. I wanted a hug.

People tell me that my parents were really good, working people. I think that, in their bitterness and sadness, they turned to alcohol.

I feel positive. We have a good team here but I feel good about the opportunity. It's a good chance.

The kids don't need to read anything into that. Every team has the opportunity to come in first or last. It's up to us what we can do.
