It's a lot of responsibility,

The responsibility of the school district is to prepare for the future and make sure we are able to provide facilities and a high level of education to every student. Should there be future developments, we will have land there to create buildings.

That will require restraint and responsibility on all sides of this equation.

All my life they had made choices for me, and I had resented it. Now the choice was mine, and once it was made, I would have no right to blame anyone else for the consequences. Loss of that privilege, to blame others, unexpectedly stung.
