It's a plan that has a lot of substance to it with respect to the establishment of a partnership between the state and local government. That skin-in-the-game connection I think is a very good business principle. It should have been done a very long time ago.

It was a phenomenal partnership.

We're looking to what level of partnership we can get, and what a partner wants from us in exchange.

We have no interest in a name on a masthead. With any partnership, you want the whole to be greater than the sum of the parts.

I don't think there ever was a formal partnership. That was very disappointing to us when it became apparent.

People don't have confidence in their senior elected officials. These are the ones we entrust with the public's business, (with) votes and actions that will be done for the sole benefit of the citizens of New Jersey. It's time for a change. This is not a change.
