It's a pretty amazing experience to be able to spread patriotism. It's a great opportunity to represent our school.

We found out about the College World Series opportunity through a person who had heard us sing and had relayed the application to our administration. It's so incredible that our singing the national anthem can spread such a positive feeling that everyone was getting involved and wanting us to do more.

It's a wonderful opportunity for me here to get some game experience early. It's pretty special. I'll try to take advantage of it, and maybe I'll open some eyes.

Right before, I will be jittery and nervous and my fingers will twitch. Then afterwards, it'll be a great feeling.

You always have an opportunity to let down (after a game like that).

If the opportunity presented itself again, I would definitely take it. Even though there were ups and downs it was worth it in the end because I came out learning things about myself, things about others, and [gaining] friendships that I will have forever.
