It's a rather spartan office structure. It's nice that it represents what our work is about. We can't have sustainable lifestyles without taking care of the environment.

That is very special. Our people, from the machine operators all the way to the front office, everybody in this building is proud. We know it comes out of our building.

We have one staff person. We have one investigator. We have no capital case defense lawyers, no office, no telephones, no computers.

We do have particular populations that would be particularly interested in this, and we would work with the Advancement Office to identify those populations and contact them.

Ottumwa Regional Hospital and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Regional Office are attempting to work through the issues at hand. It is very rare for CMS to withdraw Medicare funding due to these types of violations, especially when the hospital is working to correct them. And, it is my understanding that the hospital will be submitting a plan of correction to CMS shortly.

They would advertise in a local newspaper for a caretaker and someone who could do light office work. They would offer good money - about $10 to $14 an hour.
