Hey, look, Maria's tough and she has a work ethic. She has a great personality and she's great to be around, but those boys know she has walked the walk, and that means a lot.

Robbie had a great tournament, he's 20-1. His only loss was to a kid from Pennsylvania, 14-7. But he learned a lot. He learned he's got to keep his head the same level as his opponent. He's tall, and the kid kept hitting him with low, single-leg shots. He adjusted, though and won his next two matches.

They're a calm bunch. They get pumped up, but they know their job and they work well together. There is no 'one' sparkplug. They all feed off each other.

We played real well. We won the first game, 25-21, in the finals, but the wheels started coming off a little after that. I think we got tired. We played a lot of volleyball and I probably could have done a better job substituting.

This win shows progress. We don't want to get ahead of ourselves, though. A lot of people picked us to finish last in the conference, so it would be nice to prove them wrong.
