It's a story you can't write. The Lord put something major on us here and it's turned my life around.

It's an incredible event, probably one of the biggest events of my life. It ranks up there with the birth of my kids.

I had no idea! No thought there was another human on this earth with my blood. And, I thought she's got to be a star! And she is!

Tragedy is the greatest art form of all. It gives us the courage to continue with our life by exposing us to the pain of life. It is unsentimental, it takes us seriously as human beings, it is not condescending. Paradoxically, by seeing pain we are made greater, it becomes a need.

As an actor, I'm very much a company person. And this also goes through my life: I have a dread of responsibility. I like someone else to be in charge.
