It's a very exiting study in the sense that it's probably the first time we've seen brain imaging evidence of this type from a normal population.

It's another piece of the puzzle falling into place, but I would not say it debunks other theories. This particular piece gives more information about what cell division is doing before you get to the disease state.

That's the goal, because we're hopeful that in the near future we'll be able to detect who's going to get it and have pharmaceutical drug interventions so we can stop them from getting it.

This clearly supports the idea that there is more to the story. Where exactly those pieces fit, we don't know yet.
